“ Astoria is not known for its Chinese restaurants, whether dine-in or delivery. Dragon and Phoenix are one of the few exceptions. Their takeout menu options(and they are primarily a takeout spot -having only one table) are excellent. I ordered an orange chicken and was pleasantly surprised by its mild taste. It was a perfect choice for me. Unlike other fast-food Chinese restaurants in Astoria, the meat and vegetables were fresh. All in all, it is a solid takeout option if you are in the vicinity. Safe, clean, and fresh!! ”

Lo mein, fried chicken wings, sesame chicken, egg foo young, moo shu, triple jade and chop suey are all highlights. Steer clear of fried rice and dumplings. ”

The staff at the counter was efficient and kind, and I like the open kitchen. I ordered a Sichuan chicken combo that came with fried rice and a decent size spring roll. Having missed the lunch time, it costs just about $12.5 but wow the portion is very generous. Can easily serve 2 meals for me! And more importantly it was flavorful and fresh. I got the strong feeling that I will become a regular to this place. Excited to try out different menu. ”
